These terms apply to your use of the Garden Kit Studio website and quiz. Separate service terms, including the exact deliverables, price and timescale, will be shown or supplied before you buy a design package.

About the quiz

The quiz helps organise your preferences and suggests a style direction and starting package. Results are indicative and are not a finished design, quotation, professional survey or guarantee that every selected feature will fit your plot, budget or local requirements. A designer will confirm the appropriate scope before you commit.

Using the website

You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes. Please provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and only upload material you have the right to share. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious material or use website content to build a competing service.

Buying a garden design service

A contract is not formed merely by completing the quiz or sending an enquiry. A contract is formed only when Garden Kit Studio accepts your order on the stated terms and confirms payment. Package descriptions and recommendations are invitations to discuss the best fit; any tailored quotation or order confirmation takes priority if it differs from general website wording.

Digital images and colours vary between screens. Concept visuals communicate design intent and are not construction drawings unless a deliverable is expressly described that way.

Cancellations and early work

If you buy online as a UK consumer, you will normally have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel, subject to the law. If you expressly ask us to start during that period and then cancel, we may charge a proportionate amount for work already supplied. If the service is fully performed within the cancellation period after your express request and acknowledgement, the cancellation right may end. The purchase flow or order confirmation will explain how to cancel and any applicable exceptions.

Nothing in these terms reduces your statutory consumer rights, including rights where a service is not provided with reasonable care and skill.

Your project information

Design accuracy depends on the measurements, plans, photographs, access information, levels, drainage, utilities, covenants and other details you provide. Tell us promptly if information changes or appears inaccurate. Unless expressly included in writing, Garden Kit Studio does not provide a structural, engineering, arboricultural, ecological, drainage, planning, building-control, party-wall or legal survey.

Building and third parties

You or your appointed contractor remain responsible for checking site conditions, dimensions, underground and overhead services, permissions, regulations, safe construction methods and product suitability before work begins. Contractors, suppliers and Garden Kit providers are responsible for their own goods and services unless Garden Kit Studio expressly contracts to supply them.

Intellectual property

The website, branding and general content belong to Garden Kit Studio or its licensors. Once a purchased design has been paid for in full, you may use the supplied design documents for your own named property and brief your contractors for that project. You may not resell, publish, adapt for another property or commercially exploit them without written permission. You retain ownership of material you provide and give us permission to use it to answer your enquiry and deliver the service.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but may update, suspend or withdraw features. We are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or by reliance on indicative quiz content as if it were site-specific professional advice.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or rights that cannot legally be limited. For consumers, we are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach. We are not responsible for business losses arising from consumer use of the website.

Law, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you also retain any mandatory protections and may be able to bring proceedings in your local courts. We may update these website terms; the version applying to a paid service will be the one accepted when the contract is made.
